CNC Breakout Board OSP001583 Fit MACH3 100KHz 5-Axis Interface Driver Motion Controller
Description:
Compatible with MACH3 software.
Supports Windows XP, WIN7, WIN8, and WIN10 systems, including tablet computers and 64-bit systems.
External wide voltage input range: 12–24V, with reverse connection protection.
All input signals are optically isolated. Inputs can be connected to emergency stop, tool setting, limit, and homing functions, which helps improve computer interface safety.
Provides an optically isolated 0–10V analog voltage output for controlling an inverter with 0–10V analog input to adjust spindle speed.
Provides an optically isolated PWM output (5V level) for controlling PWM-based spindle speed controllers.
Includes four output ports (5V level) that can connect to optocoupler relay modules for controlling water cooling, mist, and similar devices.
Supports connection to stepper motor drivers with common anode or common cathode input, 5V level, and optocoupler input.
Includes a 5-axis interface cable socket (HX2.54) for connection with stepper motor drivers.
Inverter Setup
Set the inverter to external terminal start mode.
Set the inverter frequency control mode to analog (0–10V) input control.
Quick Inverter Test
The inverter does not need to be connected to the interface board initially.
Short-circuit the FWD and COM terminals, and short-circuit the 10V and VI terminals of the inverter. Connect the spindle. (Alternatively, connect a potentiometer to the 10V, VI, and GND terminals as shown in the diagram.)
Power on. If the inverter operates and the spindle rotates normally, the settings are generally correct. When using a potentiometer, the speed can be adjusted.
